About the Program

In Israel, there are peripheral areas outside of the urban centers where new immigrants often live side-by-side with various Jewish ethnic groups from around the world. It is in these communities that volunteers can play a key role in helping children and youth maximize their potential.

The unique component to the Community Involvement program is the way in which we position our volunteers into their placements. Each volunteer goes through an interview process which helps us determine his or her passions, interests, and strengths. We then collaborate with the community City Coordinator to maximize the possibilities of each participant and match them with challenging, rewarding, and enriching volunteer projects.

Community Involvement volunteers will be based in the peripheral community of Ramla, located just 25 minutes outside of Tel Aviv. Volunteers have the possibility of helping teach English, computer skills, sports, music, leadership, drama, theatre and so much more!
