Jonathan Franks

My name is Jonathan Franks and I am a alum of the Israel Service Corps: Community Involvement.
Through my own initiative, love for the game of soccer, and help from the community, I started a soccer club at the Sheret Elementary School, where I coached twenty boys aged 10-12 three times a week. The practices have been a great success as the students were given a new channel to build their social skills and self-esteem. Although they only want to play scrimmages the entire time, I incorporate proper methods of training with game-related drills. Each practice ends with the usual remarks of wanting to continue. I started with 2 balls and no jerseys, and ended with 7 balls and team jerseys. Overall, it was a great success and has been taken over by ISC 5 Volunteer, Josh.
